Program : The granite quarries of Parigné (Brittany) closed in 2024. Family-owned for 4 generations, my great-grandfather was a stonemason since 1920s. Through topographical, photographic and sampling research, and the creation of a geological and mineralogical visualization robot, I translate the territory into a material and palpable form. The project is in line with the “future scenarios” for the area, imagining the site as an artistic residence and a place of learning around the material granite, as part of the sustainable development of the locality. Granite : Plutonic rock composed mainly of quartz and feldspars
